MailerQ daily builds

Published on March 8, 2016 | By MailerQ

As of today, we also offer daily development builds for MailerQ. If you want to have a sneak preview of the upcoming version of MailerQ, or if you want to test whether a certain bug has already been fixed or a new feature been introduced, you can fetch the latest development version of MailerQ from our repository.

The daily development build is available besides the regular MailerQ version. The regular version is the recommended version to run in production environments. The latest stable version if 3.0.2 and can be downloaded from the download section on our website.

The daily build is assembled every night by an automatic process and uses the latest source code from our repository. Therefore, the quality of the daily build changes by the day and there are no guarantees that it works as expected. It is offered for testing purposes only.

MailerQ 4.0

The next version of MailerQ is going to be MailerQ 4.0. This version differs in many different aspects from the current stable 3.0.* branche. The 4.0 config file, the database structure and the JSON format is for example not fully compatible with the 3.0 branche. The current daily build is a build of this upcoming 4.0 version.

We are currently working on the documentation for this 4.0 release. To get an idea of the new features in 4.0, you can take a look at the MailerQ 4.0 documentation. The download instructions are also part of this new documentation.

Installing the dev version

After you've added the Copernica software repository to your system, installing the latest dev version is as simple as running "apt-get install mailerq-dev" or "yum install mailerq-dev".
