MailerQ 5.16.0

Published on February 12, 2026 | By MailerQ

We have released a new minor version of MailerQ. This update introduces an improvement to the handling of temporary queues. Please check the release notes for more details.

Configurable message TTL for temporary queues

This release introduces the temporary-expires configuration option, which controls how long messages may remain in a temporary queue before they are automatically moved to the outbox queue.

MailerQ previously always set the x-message-ttl argument on temporary queues to 3600 seconds (1 hour). This value is now configurable using the temporary-expires setting (in seconds). When not explicitly configured, the default remains 3600 seconds.
