As a medior front-end developer, you play an important role within our fast-growing R&D team. You will contribute to the further development of the MailerQ management console, a real-time interface for showing delivery statistics, monitoring logs, SMTP connections, and rendering emails. Because we attach great importance to good quality code, we pay a lot of attention to the review process. As a medior you are expected to be able to critically assess both your own code and that of colleagues and then give recommendations on how to improve it.
Besides your excellent programming skills, it is important in this position that you contribute to optimizing the functionality of our products. To this end, you initiate and maintain close contact with our commercial teams so that you are well informed about the needs of our customers. Would you like to know more about how we write our code? MailerQ is a high performance mail transfer agent (MTA) built in Amsterdam by Copernica. MailerQ is used by email service providers (ESPs) and large email senders all over the world as a core part of their sending infrastructure.
Other than more old-fashioned MTAs MailerQ relies on memory and an industry standard open source message broker called RabbitMQ. This makes it blazingly fast and highly flexible. Setting up MailerQ is easy and fast because of its intuitive management console. Feel free to try for yourself by signing up for a free trial.
Copernica, the company behind MailerQ, is a mature organization. That gives a lot of security compared to a normal startup. Yet Copernica never left that startup culture and is still very flexible and informal. The MailerQ team is one of the youngest teams inside Copernica. The product is taking off and we are looking to expand our teams in both development and sales.
Are you hard working, team-spirited and want to work inside a startup culture with the security of an established company? Feel free to send your resume and motivation to email@example.com. We would like to see you soon at our office in the center of Amsterdam.
