Relevant techniques

We're looking for a developer experienced in working with large amounts of data and who is enthusiastic about working with our own MapReduce framework (Yothalot). Relevant techniques include:

• C++
• PHP
• JavaScript
• MySQL
• MongoDB
• Websockets
• Apache
• RabbitMQ
• Linux (Ubuntu)

Since our front-end is a single-page application developed in JavaScript, knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS would be an advantage.

Who we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:

• At least 5 years experience with PHP and OOP;
• Experience with implementing RFCs;
• Experience with writing, designing and testing code;
• Experience and/or affinity with the LAMP stack;
• A completed bachelor's or master's degree (preferably in a technical direction) or self-taught skills demonstrated by a portfolio and relevant experience;
• Fluency in either the Dutch or English language, both spoken and written.
